26 Years of Shaping Oyster Farming

From a small operation in Adelaide to a global presence on four continents, SEAPA's journey has been driven by one simple goal: helping oyster farmers succeed.

Where It All Started

In 1998, SEAPA was founded in Adelaide, South Australia, one of the world's premier oyster farming regions. We started by working directly with local farmers, understanding their challenges firsthand.

Those early conversations revealed a gap in the market: farmers needed equipment that was purpose-built for oyster quality, not just oyster containment. Traditional baskets held oysters, but they didn't help shape them.

That insight became our mission: create equipment that actively contributes to better oysters—deeper cups, harder shells, higher meat content.
